王波，1998年毕业于清华大学电子工程系物理电子与光电子技术专业，获工学硕士学位；2004年在英国考文垂大学学习，获通信管理硕士学位。1998年进入中国电信，长期从事DSL接入、光纤接入、无线接入、家庭网络等方面的技术研究和研发项目管理工作，多次组织并参与本领域中国电信企业标准制定、设备评估测试、新技术试验和技术策略制定工作。2003年起担任CCSA（中国通信标准化协会）接入网工作组副组长。
Wang Bo graduated from the Department of Electronic Engineering of Tsinghua University in 1998 with a Master's Degree. In 2004, he studied in Coventry University, UK, receiving a Master's Degree of Communication Management. Since 1998 when he joined China Telecom, he has been engaged in the research and project management on DSL access, fiber access, wireless access and home network. He also organized and participated in specifications formulation, equipments evaluation, new technologies trial and draft of technical strategies of China Telecom in the related fields. He has been assuming the vice director of Access Network Working Group of CCSA (China Communications Standards Association) since 2003. |

China Telecommunications Corporation (China Telecom) is a full services operator and the world's largest wireline telecommunications and broadband services provider, providing telecommunications and information services including voice, data, video and multimedia services based on fixed and mobile networks. At the end of 2008, China Telecom has fixed line subscribers of 208 million, broadband subscribers of over 47 million and mobile subscribers of about 35 million.
